The Case of Truth of Our Own vs. Truth of Ourself
T. of OO: Grounded in a truth of our own, the Court of Quaker Opinion is asked to decide for the defense in this case.
T. of O: We attest, as plaintiff, of one's own truth not measuring up to the truth of oneself.
T. of OO: Possession is still the greater part of the law in which truth plays a decisive role.
T. of O: Possessed of the truth of oneself frees us from both that law and the onus of ownership.
T. of OO: Wouldst thou not defend thy own truth against that of others?
T. of O: The truth of oneself is greater, by far, than a truth of our own; just as the law of love is more demanding than the law of ownership.
T. of OO: Yet obedience to the law is a way to truth.
T. of O: Dare we be left on our own, even with the truth?
