Mediated: Actually, you claim the privilege, not the responsibility, of your immediate connection/association with the divine.

Immediate: That of God in us is both Teacher and Guide.

Mediated: And what is not of God in you creates the necessity for both personal and corporate accountability.

Immediate: Jesus, in John 10:34, sanctions the claim to which we adhere.

Mediated: And saves you from yourselves as you face the other piece of the puzzle - your mortality, unlike God.

Mediated: The O.T. "You are gods" only makes sense with the N.T. "adoption in Christ", whereby 'You are God's".
