A few weeks back I finished reading the latest James Lovelock book at about the same time that our Bible study group picked up Habakuk. It made me think about what it must be like to have a deeply troubling message to bear- both Habakuk and Lovelock's messages are rather devoid of happy endings!
It also made me think- if climate change really might reduce the world's population by 80% in my lifetime, then what is our witness as Quakers in this situation?
