Primitive Christianity Revived, Again
This event was held at Friends Meeting of Washington a few days ago (March 26) and was moderated by Phil Donahue. This, to me, speaks in the simplicity of Quakers and Americans about what we as a civilization have valued for years (the ideal America Forrest Curo speaks of recently here: http://www.quakerquaker.org/forum/topics/a-poem-for-everybody?xg_so...)
It is filled with...seeing other people as human beings, in the profound stories of people from all walks of life who see authentically about some of the aspects of this particular War, and perhaps aspects of War in general.
It is also filled with "the human voice". God speaking through us, as us.... I found these tales very empowering.
