Primitive Christianity Revived, Again

I attended the recent FWCC Section of the Americas gathering in Philadelphia and was pleasently surprised by the deep longing of pretty much everyone present for not having the Latin American representatives attend the Sessions. There just seems to not be money anymore to bring them to the USA for these meetings. FWCC explains this circumtance in several ways, to my understanding:

A couple of weeks ago, Earlham School of Religion, my Alma Mater, asked me to write a post for their official blog about my Quaker ministry in Colombia. When I submitted my contribution, I was told it would not be published, for it seemed too personal and polemic for the ESR blog readers. Hey Adriana, Is there still a Meeting in Bogota? I'm married to a Colombian and we're in Bogota for a few weeks every year and I would love to meet some other Quakers there. I found an email and phone number for the Junta Mensual in the city, but I never received a reply to my messages. Abrazos!
