Mediation as a role in each area meeting

I seem to be knocking my head on a brick wall about Quakers and mediation. I take the view that it should be one of the things we do both for people within our meeting and for the general public.

With the new squeeze on legal aid for divorcing couples it is, as usual, the poor who will lose out. The re must be other people out there who are trained mediators and share my view, if there is please get in touch as I am running out of steam.

I agree 100 percent, Neil. When I was in law school, I felt strongly led to takea mediation clinic in order to build peace. "Blessed are the peacemakers,"right? I mediated in small claims court,but I'm very much open to other contexts. This should be a major focus for us.
