Sometimes it is very difficult to put down exactly what a person believes other than the simple mechanics of one's faith. But that alone cannot convey the life of experiencing it, truly living it.
So I will give a type of testimony of how I was led.

I've been looking for someone . . . anyone on this site . . . that talks to God directly . . . like you.

On the outside world . . . anyone with the same ability . . . thinks that they should be a pastor . . .
and then . . . they think . . . they are required to tell the sheep . . . what to think about . . . instead of inspiring the sheep . . . to have a relationship with God.

Dear Rickey,

Then I am glad you found me.  I encourage anyone who will listen to me that God is always speaking, we need only to put ourselves in the place to hear.  And then to walk in obedience to how He leads us.

I have gotten away from the whole "what's your ministry" kind of thing.  It is any easy thing to be so about the work of the  'ministry' of God that we find we have worked ourselves right away from God himself. That we have tired both our bodies and our minds, that we no longer spend that quality time with Him that we need and so on.

I believe more along the lines of living every day unto Christ. Whomever I meet I will minister to in some way.  In word or deed or just by virtue of the way I live my life before them. He may lead me to someone that day, he may not.  I greatly believe what the bible says James 1:27 "Pure religion in the sight of our God and Father is to visit orphans and widows in their distress, and to keep oneself unstained from the world" and Proverbs 14:21 "He who has mercy on the poor, happy is he."

I am a lover of homeless shelters and soup kitchens, of food pantries and nursing homes.

I am a great admirer of Mother Theresa's life.  Although I did not agree in all areas, her life was given up to prayer and to her Lord which she said was Christ and she tried to let the love of God flow through her to the weak, the poor, the sick and the needy.

I admire anyone who so completely gives themselves over to the will of God.

May we all be filled with that kind of love, and so be poured out to others.

Peace to you Rickey
