I am in the room with you and I am within you. Most speak about me rather than speaking me directly and in immediacy. Speak my name … I am … and there I am. To speak about me … to reflect upon me … is to turn from who I am and who you are in me to focus on shadows. Do not look for me through the written and spoken reflections, writings, and preaching of those who set themselves up as your teacher or elder. I am your teacher and elder and there is no other before me. Look and call upon me … I am … and you and I will be One. I discover to you a new and different way of being and existence on this earth and in this time. I am come out of identity with religion and politics and economics; and in this coming out, these things and the people who profess them, are laid down and you see directly the Life itself in itself without ideological, institutional, and practiced mediations. In immediacy, I am the anchor of your conscious and the informer of your conscience and you and I become of the same nature and when I speak you speak as One. Live in me in all the rooms and spaces walked through and you are then Living Immanent Presence and know the Life all around you and within you and then you are all around and within. Live and know me in the Room with you. Lay down your reflected rationalizations and intellectual constructs and acknowledge me in the room around you and within you and we then become the Life itself in itself that illuminates and is victorious over the darkenings and shadowings of identity with outward forms, institutions, ideologies, theologies, and practices.

I am not of the nature of the reflective mind that talks about me in my Presence. When the conscious and conscience is anchored and informed by my immediate and immanent Presence others are not reflected upon and seen through the mirrors of outward forms. I am a new life in a new conscious. I am of a different way than the reflective conscious. When I am owned within you, there is no running to this book or this person for guidance and support. I am all things and sufficient to teach and guide. When I am within you and you are within me, we are One and you know the life itself in itself without reference to or respect for any outward guide. The worldly and reflective mind runs around looking here and looking there for answers and peace through notions and the professors of notions outside themselves that overshadows immanent Life itself in itself. Look within and embrace who I am and who you are itself in itself and you will know a life that does not reflect upon others; but lays down all outward categories, constructs, books, professors, organizations, and institutions. There are legions of those who reflect upon others and judge each other through the mirrors of the reflective mind. To be informed by outward constructs and reflect those constructs upon others is not of the nature of who I am. I am here with you right now and at this moment. In the reflective mind you speak about me as if I were not there. To speak about me is not to know me. Speak my Name. Call upon that which I am and own Who I am. Call out I am! and know I am the way that leads to true peace between people and giving strength to lay down outward forms, and a life identified with those forms, for an immanent life anchored and informed immediately in the Life itself in itself. I am the way out of dependency upon outward forms and the professors of those forms. In me there is peace itself in itself.

This post reminds me of when I first walked into a liberal Quaker meetinghouse and sat down to see firsthand what that particular place was all about.  I came those 32 years ago as a devoted student and follower of the teachings of Jesus.  And I came for four successive Sundays, seeking the Light that I did not know was already within me.  Yet, I was soon puzzled because during those four Sundays of worship not a word was uttered about Jesus.  And I thought, "How can this be that Jesus has not even been spoken of, nor has the Bible been quoted; yet, these people are more Christ-like than any I have found in any church I have gone to.  Their love as a community is unconditional without judgement. They are the embodiment of Light without receiving that Light from an outward Source: not a book, a hymn, or another person (even Jesus)."

I was so puzzled and shaken mentally that I left after those four Sunday experiences.  I did not return for one year until my being understood that this is what Jesus wanted for humankind: to be of the Light, the true being - just as he was.  So, after that year away, I returned to that meeting for a time, and soon moved to yet another locality and another liberal Quaker meeting where I found the same amazing, yet puzzling experience of Light.  And my life was soon changed.  And since that awakening, never have I cared if those living in the Light have even heard of Jesus, the Bible, or any other such notions - because I have experienced that the Light of the world is the true reality no matter from what Source it manifests.  It is experienced; it is our true being and existence.  It is not reflected or represented by anything or anyone.  It is of all, in all, and for all.  It is the experience of being God himself, available to everyone.

Dear Howard. This immanent life we share and directly participate in experientially during worship and in daily life ,changes the very foundation of our consciousness. We are no longer predicated ... we are and I am in itself. What a blessing to be taught and guided directly ... immanently. And to know that that immanence is unconditional. That even when we turn from it and fall back into the old nature of identification with outward creeds and principles and teachers which brings us into conflict and judgementalism, Immanent Presence is just a turn of focus (watchfulness) back into alignment with the Life itself. This Life is real, and is directly known right now, gracing us with victory over the detachment of reflective thought. I and immanent Presence are One. I am come into the life itself and own that same life within you by the grace and fullfillment of the Life itself and own that which is within each of us and is all around us. Even in the temporal we know the eternal.

I often have a need to render the posts of others into a classic prose format so that I can be swept away with the spiritual depth and beauty of their words.  I was moved to do so with Keith's post entitled:

I Am in the Room with You

I am in the room with you and I am within you.

Most speak about me rather than speaking me directly and in immediacy.

Speak my name … I am … and there I am.

To speak about me … to reflect upon me …

is to turn from who I am and who you are in me to focus on shadows.

Do not look for me . . .

through the written and spoken reflections, writings, and preaching

of those who set themselves up as your teacher or elder.

I am your teacher and elder and there is no other before me.

Look and call upon me … I am … and you and I will be One.

I discover to you a new and different way of being and existence on this earth and in this time.

I am come out of identity with religion and politics and economics;

and in this coming out, these things and the people who profess them, are laid down

and you see directly the Life itself in itself

without ideological, institutional, and practiced mediations.

In immediacy, I am the anchor of your conscious and the informer of your conscience

and you and I become of the same nature

and when I speak you speak as One.

Live in me in all the rooms and spaces walked through

and you are then Living Immanent Presence

and know the Life all around you and within you and then you are all around and within.

Live and know me in the Room with you.

Lay down your reflected rationalizations and intellectual constructs

and acknowledge me in the room around you and within you

and we then become the Life itself in itself that illuminates

and is victorious over the darkenings and shadowings of identity

with outward forms, institutions, ideologies, theologies, and practices.
