More on Liberal Quakers

A phenomenon of the late 19th century, liberal Friends currently form about 20 percent of the global Quaker population. Meetings for worship among liberal Friends are unprogrammed and monthly meetings are generally permissive in terms of belief, tending to be liberal in their politics. I have been there a couple of times and the mostly organic and homegrown food is fantastic! People are lovely and workshops excellent.

As I recall the facilities and rooms were nice. The grounds are beautiful. I imagine each workshop would be somewhat different depending on the presenter.

There is a men's retreat in October. I was curious about how the facilities are, how the workshops are presented. I guess, just general information. Thanks, David.

Hi all. I haven't been able to attend meeting in sometime due to work schedules and caring for my father. I try to be Quiet at least once a week, be it on First day or another. It makes me feel connected. Holding you all in the light.

Hello everyone. I've just joined QuakerQuaker. I've been an attender for years (FGC) and have recently begun the change to member. I'm really feeling the Friends lately.
