I am posting this because it kind of fascinated me to hear someone try to explain Quaker practice to another culture. Even though there are a lot of these jokey inaccurate tales about Quakers circulatin, I don't so much get offended but feel humbled to be part of a tradition that has stood out enough to be used in teachings, tales, anecdote, jokes. . . It was odd that he kept saying "Quaker Master". Such an oxymoron, Only time I have heard that is as in Rufus Jones, MASTER QUAKER!
