@ Cotswold - Ideally, yes. If you don't feel led by God, you shouldn't speak at meeting. It's very distracting (and disrespectful to the silence, I think) when people use it as a bully pulpit for political issues or a place to talk about how their week was.

Love them, just sending them off to my 14 year old Friend as a resource for her to explain Quakers to her friends.
