Ray, I know that I too do not stop by QuakerQuaker very often. I loss track of you. I went to your blog and saw that you now have a FaceBook page. Then I saw that you are now in Sweden. Wow. It is May 19, 2017 as I write this. Here is my recent email address. teribookless51@gmail.com  I hope to connect with you and your wife soon.  Sincerely, Teri.

How does one join the QuakerQuaker Vegetarian group?

I don't usually take over two years to accept a friend request.  I think it is only because I'm an infrequent visitor to QuakerQuaker; too busy with other things and often preoccupied by my (rather slow) development of the idea of trying to get people to converse more with others outside their immediate vicinity, nationality and peer groups.  I see this as an underlying step towards developing a fairer and more peaceful world that everyone should consider taking.  I think it as necessary to the building of a better world as a frame is to the building of an arch.  But I'm getting carried away again ....  Perhaps I should write a blog about it here on QuakerQuaker.

perhaps I ought to say "ti" rather than you...I do like that in Welsh I can use ti/thee rather than chi/you, and naturally. It was one of the first things I noticed as I grappled with Welsh at primary school, ti was used for God, friends, family - and animals

thank you for a welcoming friend request. I shall wander around and do some reading, maybe some interacting!

Thank you, Ray, for your friend request - it did look rather sad when I logged on to QuakerQuaker for the first time to see the message: "You have no friends on QuakerQuaker"! Now I can truthfully declare that I do have one!

Sorry, Ray, I didn't keep you in touch with the Becoming Friends progress. I guess it must have gone all right, as Susan and I were formally welcomed into membership on the 25th day of the eighth month!

I've a new blog (see my profile page) where I've been trying to put down a few ideas on this journey. (I'm terrible at leaving comments, but am a regular Hay Quaker reader!)

I  don't think I've found the way to get the best out of QuakerQuaker yet. I often find myself a little at sea in these online communities, for some reason...

So by my calculations, that means you have 7 children total.  Some are furry children, but all require attention and affection.

Yes, I understand and appreciate your words. . . a rare moment of calm.

I do wish you and yours many more of those.     ^ .. ^
