Watchfullness in times of ease and satisfaction.

Watchfullness in times of ease and satisfaction. Presence sustained.

In times of freedom from outward constraint and care, a sense of satisfaction in acomplishment can overshadow the sense of Presence so that unity and identity in the Light fades against outward accomplishment; self-consciousness anchors outwardly and conscious becomes informed by outward sense of the ease of things. However, this inward dimming is forestalled when watchfullness combines with intention; just on the edge of darkness, repentance (the self-conscious ego voluntarily embracing and holding to the inward volition of Presence; a embracing in the eternal embrace) manifests salvation.

Yesterday, I lived Presence overshadowed by the sense of outward ease and satisfaction through personal effort and, in the same moment the pain of Presence receding. In the Presence of Christ ease happened, however, it flashed before the horizon of consciousness that this ease was mine and, if I just turn to and embrace the outward sense of it and anchor my Self in this outward sense, giving kneeling homage; ease would be my reward.

In watchfullness, the deceit was revealed and I embraced the Life itself and it re-placed the idolatry of outward ease and satisfaction by purging the idol in eternal Light. Grasping the very edge of the garment of Presence, a miracle happened, and I was pulled through inward Volition from the borderland forward deep into the Garden of Life.
Oh, it is such a blessing to know Presence in all things and circumstances; even during those moments when an outward sense of ease presents as alternative to the immediacy Presence itself.

Thank you for this reminder and affirmation of where the true ease is to be found.
