Primitive Christianity Revived, Again
The news media today seems insanely driven in its efforts to overturn the current governments in power in the Arab world. The US media does not understand Arab culture, or Islam. Every time a revolt happens countless numbers of innocent humans are slaughtered in the name of change. Just look at the history of Afghanistan for instance.
Anyone with common sense is flabbergasted at the destruction of some of the national treasures of Egypt. What drives a person to destroy articles on public display in a national museum for everyone to enjoy? I'm all for freedom of men everywhere, however to approve this type of human activity is insane.
As a young man growing up in the American Culture, I was taught that God struggles against evil. Now . . . that I have a relationship with God . . . the thought of God having a problem with evil is a joke. God does not have a struggle with evil. Evil is not a problem in the plan of God. I fact God does not have any problems. Everything is going just as God envisioned it. Will you be suckered into hating others by their actions?
A new government is not the solution to the problem. Government is never the solution to the problem . . . love is the solution to mens problems.
"Everything is perfect, but some things could use improvement."
God does have a problem with human suffering, because we are God's "children" and God lives in suffering people, even in evil people. He does not stop caring about us as we (ideally-- and usually, in fact) don't stop caring about our children.
The media-- and outright US government propaganda-- through which we view the world
distorts that view terribly. But even so, I don't see how you could imagine that the US government or their pet media have any interest in letting native peoples overturn our dictators, a process which (as we've feared for many years) lead to said peoples taking control of their own countries' resources and selling them to us, at a fair price, for their own public human needs. I recommend a long period devoted to reading articles at counterpunch.org
So . . . Forrest . . . will you trust God to rescue you in times of trouble?
Or will you call on mankind?
Forrest
Go for it.
