Even though the deadline for this year's Bridge Film Festival is March 1st, we recently received the first entry. It's from the Brooklyn Monthly Meeting and it's a public service announcement related to the American Friends Service Committee's "One Minute for Peace" initiative.
Last summer the BFF jointly announced a "bridging" with the AFSC, and now the videos are starting to arrive. You can watch Brooklyn Friends Meeting submission below. We've also created a play list on our WBFF YouTube channel to host the videos as they come in.
The PSA's produced by our students of the Quaker faith and/or who are attending a Friends school may be on any subject consistent with Quaker values but it is already gratifying to see the bridging with the AFSC bear this fruit.
