Gleaning the Crap

Boxes of paper that I haven't looked at in years are designated to be shredded or burned. I need a soap recipe with lye made from ashes...or is that too old.

Good for you. Clear out the physical crap, and you'll clear out the mental crap, IMO. Soap recipes are not odd. I've encountered many on the internet.
