Thanks, Tom! I'll write as soon as this cold spell breaks up. My questions concern what happened to the Stavanger meeting after it was established.
By the way, have you ever heard of "the Saints", a pietist schism from the Lutheran Church. They were widespread in Scandinavia, and I think that the group at Roldahl with Quaker proclivities was probably made up of "Saints".

I have often wondered about the Stavanger Friends, and their migration from one affiliation to another, and finally to an unaffiliated status.
I read with interest the article in Country magazine some years ago, and wanted to know more about the "Stavanger journey". I may ask some more questions (by private mail), if you are willing.
