Thanks, Suzy -- agreed, re: resources and use/training. See how the fall unfolds, and let me know if there's interest in another training. I'll share that in the last four years I think the training workshop has evolved and improved (as these things do, with time and practice!). For some at Madison, it might be a refresher and for others a new experience. I learn something new every time I lead a training. Stay in touch, and enjoy your new position! Warmly, Melinda
Yes, I am one of two Quakers who are Godly Play trainers in the US. I travel in the ministry for FGC doing trainings for Friends interested in using Godly Play and Faith & Play stories. I was at Madison in the summer of 2012 for a training. (Hard to believe it's been four years!) The trainings are $100/participant, and I ask that we have a minimum of six and maximum of 12 participants. I also do introductions and other kinds of programs for meetings getting started with or exploring using Godly Play/Faith & Play. Let me know how I can be of service?
Did you know that QuakerQuaker is 100% reader supported? Our costs run to about $50/month. If you think this kind of outreach and conversation is important, please support it with a monthly subscription or one-time gift.
