About Me
I was born and bred in a historically puritan north-Oxfordshire market town. Two consistent themes have been religion and mental illness, these things having shaped my personal and professional life. I studies mental health nursing in Buckinghamshire in my early twenties and have undertaken studies and ministries in the Church of England.

Like many of my peers I suffered arrested spiritual development, but over the past decade I have sought to rectify this. Some Roman Catholic friends introduced me to contemplative prayer, and my practice deepened when I entered a religious community. In the stillness of the monastery I had the sense that still worship would bring more potential for personal transformation, and I knew that it would profit me to let go of empty forms.

Through my current partner I was introduced to worship in the manner of Friends. We are the wardens for a Local Meeting in the Thames Valley and my role is to care for the garden of the 18th c. Meeting House.

Friends, please feel free to contact me.
