I have a proven ancestral family of Quakers. I am a simple person who has investigated several religions and choosing to return to the Quaker lifestyle. This is a quiet life without chaos in it and following leadings found in prayer.

Welcome to QQ, Carolyn! So far, I haven't found a date that marks the beginning of your involvement here. I spent a couple of summers in Modesto, living among the Old German Baptists. I still have some good friends there.
During my time in Modesto, I was privileged to visit the farm near Stockton where the legendary Arabian stallion Fadjur resided. I had lived in Los Angeles when I was in 6th grade, but did not return until I was a Ph.D. student. When I descended from the Sierras, it was as if I were entering an exotic foreign country! What an experience!!
Did you know that QuakerQuaker is 100% reader supported? Our costs run to about $50/month. If you think this kind of outreach and conversation is important, please support it with a monthly subscription or one-time gift.
