My mother told me about the quakers when I was a kid, around 11 or 12 years of age. I think she felt like a kindred spirit. The essence of what she said stayed with me and I have been drawn to find out more off and on over the years. However, it was not until September of 2009 that I started going to meetings for worship and once I started, I kept going. In March of this year I was accepted as a member of the Sweden Yearly Meeting and it feels just right. I suppose I would fit into the "liberal" category.
