That's my reenactor garb, though the snood is sometimes regular wear. I took my spindle to Pennsic (big annual medieval reenactment thing) last year, but this year I'll be taking my wheel. I've found the videos from Abby Franquemont (also her blog posts) helpful for spinning.

Yes, this is a Country Craftsman wheel that I bought about ten years ago. I took it to reenactments with me for years and did demo's, but I'm just now starting to understand spinning more because I found a group to spin with.
Do you spin? You look very rennaisance, dahling. Is that your reenactor era, or is that your plain attire preference?
