Primitive Christianity Revived, Again

As far as I know, the Borden Meeting is still active, but very small.
Hi William! Yes I've read both of those books actually! They were excellent :) Is the Borden meeting still active? It would be nice to visit some conservative friends...

I like your photos. I have relatives in western Canada and friends from Alberta in the Mennonite church we attend, but it's hard to imagine what it is like to live there.
Are you familiar with the small Conservative meeting of Friends at Borden SK? See *A Community of Friends: The Quakers at Borden*, by Betty Ward. It is listed on Amazon.
Also, have you read Robert Rhodes's *Nightwatch: An Inquiry Into Solitude; Alone on the Prairie with the Hutterites*? Your photo "In the Fields" brings Rhodes's book to mind.
Thanks Ray, being Canadian your UK spelling is both appreciated and understood :) lol
A beautiful picture. I like the way the field takes centre (excuse UK spelling) stage, giving all kinds of clues about what kind of day it was ~ you can almost feel the cold. Thank you!
I cannot believe that it is cold enough to snow already! :) Not quite that cold here. I've got some interesting foggy pictures. A few days ago there was heavy rains and thunderstorms passing through. Yes, I've got a few scenes of autumn colours! :) Lasting snow by halloween? It is nearly foreign to me! Sometimes we get some snow after thanksgiving, sometimes before Christmas: but usually the first month and second month are the real snowy times around here. Again, here the weather is so unpredictable. . .
Yes it's gotten quite cold lately! The other day we had the most beautiful fog! Today it is raining, but relatively warm...a very somber but lovely scene. I can hardly believe you don't have fall colours yet! Already we've had our first snow, though its melted now. Lasting snow usually comes just before halloween.
Ah, I'd say evening?? In the fields. . . Evening. . . You know many a poem is kindled within me seeing this picture! :) Already the leaves are fallen? Cold is it?
Here it is still meddling—sometimes warm into the mid 70°(f)s and other times in the lower 60s. No frost yet. No autumnal colours as of yet. I'm sure that will start to change tho'. :)
I like this picture. . . Tho' the landscape is growing cold, just like ours is. Lord Willing, it awaits another spring!! :)
