Primitive Christianity Revived, Again
Comment
Good Morning John,
Thanks so much forthe reply, I do not really havea problem with the IPad, I do not have one, I do well enough to keep up with this lap top, and a NoFrills Cell phone.
I also do some silk painting and this would be great on Silk. Do you have a website? I would love to go and look.
Also wanted to say Thank You for the nice comment on my baskets. Your art is AMAZING!, While it appears that I a 100% Traditionalin my work, when it comes to Watercolor and Silk Painting, Precious Metal Clay work etc. I tend to be more on the contemporary side (don't know why) but in these mediums I prefer more free form, non structured work, while basketry has always been more traditional or like in some of the work on the liks contemporary within traditional boundraries. If you have a web site I would love to go to yours. Thanks again !
Most of my work is ceramic. I suspect you will not fully approve of "I Pad's". I draw with pastels and make "flow" sculptures in clay using colour slips and oxides. some of my work I place in the current of a river.
Mitchel. this was a drawing I did on an I Pad. when I am away from my studio I use the I Pad as a drawing board. My work, concerned with the notion of "flow" informs both the process and the ethos of my work.
I love your baskets by the way. We have some exquisite Native American baskets as although I live in England my wife is from Seattle and they are her family heirlooms.
John.
I am curious if this is done on glass? or what, and also on this work (the bright red and green, did you purposely make the little face in the painting or did it just form itself
Thanks Mitchell
