Primitive Christianity Revived, Again

Heh, yeah my pocket is done out of upholstery fabric, no embroidery.
Hey Mackenzie! I don't wear the pockets for everyday...I hadn't thought of it actually. I made them for 1812 "Reenactor garb" :) I think I would make plainer, hardier ones for everyday...
Do you wear pockets too? I made mine to wear with reenactor garb, and then it turned out to be so handy to have one that I wear one all the time.
Yes! Only Satin and what I call back-stitch, but is probably the same as stem stitch. basically those are the only ones I've learned so far :) It is based on this original http://softiescentral.typepad.com/photos/uncategorized/pocket20colo...
Oh, Zaley, I love this! The colors are so pretty, and the design is so pleasing; it reminds me of some Jacobean things I've seen. Am I right that it's mostly satin and stem stitches? And a hanging pocket? As my granny would say, "Right bonny!"
Thanks Isabel! I didn't think anyone would recognize it as a pocket :) Yay!
Beautiful pocket!!
