Hi Tina :) The dress is a Ohio-3 piece pattern form Friends Pattern Company, the pinafore is actually a "kitchen/canning" apron from the same site. I did find this pattern a bit difficult, but that might have more to do with using the treadle machine than the pattern itself...

Very well done Zaley!! Is that a cape dress? May I ask where you got the pattern? I love that style pinafore over the dress and can't find one. You picked a beautiful color as well!!

Thankyou! Yes it was quite a challenge learning how to use the treadle! As a result it took months to complete versus 2 days with electric! Eventually I had to ask my Grandmother to investigate the glitches, as she grew up with these machines...mine came with only scant scans of a manual. I have been lucky enough to have a great sewing instructor as a buddy :) Tons of practice makes perfect...which is still a long way off lol

Is this thee?? Like the colours thee chose. Thou hast more patience than I to work with a treadle machine, for it be hard enough for me to use an electric one! :) I hope to do more in the way of sewing again sometime. Great job! :)
