Have you a favorite yet on a woman's dress pattern? I'm close enough to my goal weight that I'm ready to purchase one, and when my health allows start sewing...finally!! :) i'm open to a cape dress or as you have done here, a simple modest dress with a vest! I have been wearing a very simple dress with a canning apron over it. I like the look, but I don't make either piece myself.

Yes! Thanks Tina! This was actually my first dress I ever made. It is an adaptation of a modern pattern and the bodice is fitted, hence the vest.
