Our hearts can become overgrown with weeds that choke out the Lord of Light! How sad a thing that would be. . .

A lovely natural reminder of what Christ said about the seed and the weeds! Our heart should be weed free and bearing fruits of the Spirit. And let us then consider one another to provoke one another unto love and good works which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them. . .

Nicely captured here and a good lesson from it to learn.

I love your picture. It reminds me that this planet is just teaming with life in all it's varied forms, and has been for millennia. The earth reclaims all. "Dust we are, and to dust we return". The true life within, the Spirit, is eternal, and a lasting home in which to focus.

The meetinghouse I worship in is in the middle of woods on all sides. Nature is always striving to reclaim the place, whether it be vegetation trying to overwhelm the meetinghouse; or creatures large and small trying to eat, homestead, or propagate within it.

If left uncared for just a few months, it starts to become a larger version of your picture - a reminder to those who come there not to put our hopes in the material things of this world.

An Adirondack back lawn chair. . . The seat is a tuft of grassy growth. A little paint, a few screws, a few pieces of wood, and this would become something to relax in again. Unless termites have claimed what we don't see of it. :)

This is nice though, really!
