Have found the supreme benefit of the Internet in "The NET Bible"(bible.org) with its 60,932 translators' notes.

And yes, the word "perfect"(though not recently with the translation above of Mt. 19:21) is consistently used for what is offered by Jesus to seekers.

Still, only non-property seekers, as George Fox, seem to be able to deal with abandoning "ktema"(in Greek)/all to follow what Jesus not only asks but shows to be humanly possible.

Wouldst a better start, however, be the Beatitudes(which answer to "attitudes of being" a slave to possessions/technologies) which wouldst move us to act Because(otherwise "being a cause" of injustice)?

In the beginning(Book of Genesis), The NET Bible offers this commentary regarding the "forbidden fruit of the Tree of Knowledge"(3:17-19): In general, the themes of the curse oracles are important in the NT teaching that Jesus became the cursed one hanging on the tree.

What was tempting for humanity to have/possess before is rotten, no-good Christian propaganda now? Guess we still want the pleasure/knowledge/freedom without the responsibility of the cross!
