Through workshops and plenary sessions, we will consider the core of Quaker leadership through the lenses of vision, values and skills.
To get the weekend started, Joe Volk, retired Executive Director of Friends Committee on National Legislation will speak at our opening dinner on Friday. His topic will be Quaker Management: Oxymoron or Genius at Work?
On Saturday morning, a Quakers in Business Panel will consider the question Wha...t Have You Learned in Business that Might Be Helpful to Friends?
Other conference topics will Include:
* Bringing Quaker Values into Organizational Culture - Bonalyn Mosteller
* Creating a Culture in Which Mentoring Might Arise - Paul Lacey and Jennie Isbell
* The Skills Set and Mindset of Innovation - Alan Kolp and Peter Rea
* Leadership, Can it be Taught? - Jay Marshall
Full conference fee and all meals: $175 (early bird registration April 1 -June 30 $150)
Saturday only conference fee and three meals: $125 (early bird registration April 1 - June 30, $85)
Those will a valid student ID can attend for a rate of $75.
Transportation and lodging costs not included, but we can make recommendations about lodging.
