Never mind. It seems that all conversation that makes Martin uncomfortable is to be censored. Perhaps we can post interesting blog posts as new topics over at QuakerInfo.

Thank you, James, but I don't think of it as tolerant, just as realistic. I hope you are going to hang around at least awhile, I'm formulating one more attempt to explain what it is about in relation to the last post by the little dragon (or whatever that nick is)

"Christian renewal." Yes, indeed, and one of the things I hope to "renew" is that sense of openness to different ideas and bases for "Christ-like" action indicated by Paul in stating somewhere in Romans that those who do the "things of the law are a law unto themselves."

I, for one, would like to especially welcome you to QuakerQuaker's new format at least. Over the last few years I have come to greatly appreciate your insights, and, while I know that there are some who would be leery of the "non-theist" label, I know where they are coming from whether we are in agreement as to the nature of that source or not. I also think that ALL theists need a healthy dose of how it looks from a more rational approach (not that the opposite is necessarily "irrational," but that "non-rational" needs to be solidly in touch with observed reality. Whatever...Welcome.
In His Love,
Nate
