Primitive Christianity Revived, Again
Greetings, Friends!
Minding the Light: Our Collective Journal is a publication of West Hills Friends, a Quaker meeting in Portland, Oregon. Using the guidelines of "worship sharing," we invite members and attenders to reflect on a specific query for each chapter.
Chapter 28 of Minding the Light is now available online and attached as a PDF file, below. For this chapter, we invited Friends to respond to the query, "When have you been led to a place of healing? Tell us a story about your experience of a location that was healing or restorative to you." In response, we received 8 stories and six photos.
What stories rise for you as you sit this query? We invite you to read these stories and consider sharing your response on QuakerQuaker, either as a response to this post or in a blog post of your own.
There are links below to the West Hills Friends website and Minding the Light website, where all 28 chapters can be found. There's also a link to a PDF version of Chapter 28.
Blessings!
Sally Gillette, Clerk
Story Committee
What a beautiful collection, Sally. It reflects nicely on the deepness of your Quaker community. Thank you for sharing it!
