Primitive Christianity Revived, Again
Have you checked out the QuakerQuaker homepage lately? We've been doing some redesigning lately: it's more spacious, with commentary in the posts and more visuals throughout. The conversations on the site have also been unusually fruitful and there's been a lot of great blog posts and video sharing.
I'd like to share some of the ways we've been sharing more of the Quaker conversation out into the world.
Tumblr: We have had a quiet presence on the Tumblr social media ecosystem for years now. But we've been bringing it front and center. It's got its own tab on the top and it's what powers the Editor Picks on the homepage. You can access (and follow) it directly at daily.quakerquaker.org, where you'll find years' worth of editor picks all archived.
Twitter Favorites: We know there's a lot of great Quaker material that doesn't quite fit our Editor Picks' specific mandate. We've started to share a lot more on our Twitter Favorites list—lots of great, timely Quaker thoughts (at 140 characters) and links to Quakers in the news.
Facebook: Have you checked out the Facebook page lately? Not only are there the Editor Picks you'd expect, but it also lists all of the retweets, site discussions, videos, event listings from the site. If you haven't "Liked" the page yet, please head on over and do so!
Keep the outreach going: All this activity takes time. And there are plenty of ways we'd like to reach out even further with email lists and strategic Facebook advertising. But it all costs money. Please consider supporting this work by signing up for the $10/month donation plan or by giving a one-time donation.
In Friendship,
Martin Kelley, QuakerQuaker host
