The Ning platform which QuakerQuaker.org uses has mostly frozen in features and to upgrade to the newest (still not very new) version would double the monthly bill. I keep the site going mainly because people still like to use this and for some interesting archival discussions that have info that doesn't exist anywhere else.
Mastodon's a great platform. I'm there (writing.exchange/@martin; we already follow each other). A strong Quaker community is building and there's a list. There's no reason to move this site there.
