Help finding a specific word for a specific behavior.

Hello,

Imagine this happened to you:

You are reading a book on a park bench and someone walks up to you and punches your arm then yells at you saying, “Hey you hit me.”

Can anyone come up with a word for this behavior? I’m struggling to find a word that is right on target. Hypocrisy doesn’t seem to fit.

Thank you, Keith

More context needed.  A perfect stranger?  Mentally ill?

Perhaps the term you are looking for is "gaslighting?" Some basic elements of gaslighting may include: attempting to convince someone of the truth of something intuitively bizarre or outrageous by forcefully insisting on it or by marshaling superficial evidence; flatly denying that one has said or done something that one has obviously said or done; dismissing someone's contrary perceptions or feelings as invalid or pathological; questioning the knowledge and impugning the motives of persons who contradict the viewpoint of the gaslighter. It is an extremely unloving behavior.
