    Style separates people.  The courageous ones who 'cross the lines' of style and form can reap the benefits of  who are 'the strong' in ways that we might be weak.  
    We are not 'forced' to conform to the world of 'bad family form' and 'game'-worlds, porno, promiscuity, casual attitudes towards 'God' and humorous 'appreciation of evil'.
     We choose to conform to it.  
     There are options of purity, for spirit, soul & body.   Avenues of escape.  

      Some of the grandest people that i have met are those who have laid down their personal style and personal practices in order to walk alongside people who are 'stronger' in some areas of life. Disregarding the various and obvious sacrifices and shortcomings in order to gain a greater wholeness within.

Thanks, Timothy!  I have many German Baptist friends, both New Conference and Old Conference.  They have upheld Darlene and me through thick and thin.  If we needed help, we could count on them and on our Mennonite friends.  Some Conservative Friends also supported us through the trials and tribulations we have experienced in life.

Thank you, William, for sharing these photos. I still worship with the Dunkards in my neighborhood and recently attended a baptism where I met River Brethren.  It was uplifting and brilliant. I definitely needed the lift your thread provided.

Hello, Paula!  I am happy that you have made contact with Brethren, and also that you find fellowship with them uplifting.  My Brethren connections, primarily Old German Baptist, have been very important in nurturing my faith and supporting Darlene and me through many trials and tribulations!
