Hi Olaf,
The Ning platform which QuakerQuaker.org uses has mostly frozen in features and to upgrade to the newest (still not very new) version would double the monthly bill. I keep the site going mainly because people still like to use this and for some interesting archival discussions that have info that doesn't exist anywhere else.
Mastodon's a great platform. I'm there (writing.exchange/@martin; we already follow each other). A strong Quaker community is building and there's a list. There's no reason to move this site there. Anyone in the QQ membership who wants to go there should check it out. Just write an introductory post and use the #quaker hashtag and I'll see it and befriend you.

Hi Martin!
Thanks for the answer and the explanation. We already follow each other on Mastodon. I would be happy if we gradually become more. Especially here in Germany, where there are so few friends, a digital exchange is an enrichment. Let's hear from you! Gladly also in German if it is comfortable for you.

An helpful how to about following hashtags:
Yeah I'm on Mastodon through being a Subgenius (as well as Quaker). It's a fine platform but you don't just "move" a complex archives to it. A heart transplant might be easier? Start fresh and call it something else maybe? QQ is perfectly OK as is, IMO.
