I love the teachings of Jesus in the Sermon on the Mount. I am a Liberal Quaker. An atheist I know pointed out with a lot of back up evidence that we have no proof jesus ever said those words.  I feel foolish to have regarded these words "Blessed are the Peacemakers" etc as words he spoke- whereas I feel now these words most likely are fictional. rich morgan Brookahven NY

 I enjoy Light Led, discerned  vocal ministry.  I feel led maybe once a twice a year to do this.  No doubt - the holy silence @ Meeting is strong enough to stand solidly on its own.  I love the healing, nurturing and stress relief-of this silence-especially in our chaotic world. Hello: My family and I have been going to a Friends meeting about once a month for about 6 months-the closest one is 26 miles away-we like it. Although my wife and I were born and brought up as Lutherans, I have been a Unitarian for the lost 20 yrs aprox.
