I am tutor for Nurturing Friends and Meetings at Woodbrooke Quaker Study Centre in Birmingham, UK. My job involves providing learning (through resources and courses) for Quakers, meetings and groups on any aspect of what it means to be a Quaker community and how to grow in the spirit. I am passionate about the potential for a radical future for Quakers. I have a PhD in Quaker Studies (with a thesis on the spiritual practices and religious beliefs of adolescent Quakers). I enjoy thinking, talking, writing, teaching and learning about Quakerism.
Did you know that QuakerQuaker is 100% reader supported? Our costs run to about $50/month. If you think this kind of outreach and conversation is important, please support it with a monthly subscription or one-time gift.
