I have had an interest for the last 10 years in Quakerism, and have attended Meeting whenever and wherever I am generally.
I have attended in Roberts Creek, BC, Vancouver, Toronto, Lyme Regis, Dorset, Bakewell, Derbyshire, UK, Capetown, SA, and have attended a weekend workshop on Quaker Quest in Vancouver, BC.
I have been interested in becoming a member for a couple of years, but have never had the opportunity so far. I live in a region with no Quaker Meeting, as the local meeting instigator, a friend of mine, just passed away a month ago.
I was a Unitarian for 30 years, but am more sympathetic towards the Quaker Way, I realize.
I am a semi-retired professional living in a Cohousing Community on the Sunshine Coast of British Columbia in Canada, and was brought into this Community by the aforesaid deceased Quaker, Hilary Holliday.
