Thanks for your very kind welcome, Nathan.

I've been slow to sign up here as a member, because I'm really not in line with the stated philosophical underpinnings of the site ("Quaker Christian renewal in the manner of convergent Friends"). But this forum does seem to be emerging as a gathering place for lively and broad-based Quaker conversation, along with Bill Samuel's forum at quakerinfo.com.
