- A Quaker by convincement, I am a member of the Durham Friends Meeting in North Carolina. I have been a teacher at the Carolina Friends School for 23 years, working with young children ages 6-10. My partner and I live on a small farm and rescue potbellied pigs. I am the proud grandmother of Maya Lily Noonan, who lives in Germany with her family.
