historical researcher with great sympathy, respect, and strong family ties with the Friends. Would like to join QuakerQuaker to learn more about contemporary Quaker concerns and points of view.

I would also recommend *Quaker Theology* http://quest.quaker.org/ for a liberal and somewhat iconoclastic take on Quaker history and current events.
If you look over these sites, and want still more Quaker resources, I would be happy to recommend some good Quaker biographies, memoirs and ministers' journals--to give you insight into the Quaker past through personal narratives.
Did you know that QuakerQuaker is 100% reader supported? Our costs run to about $50/month. If you think this kind of outreach and conversation is important, please support it with a monthly subscription or one-time gift.

Hello, Marian Gold!
If your historical concerns include Friends, you should investigate the Friends Historical Association http://www.haverford.edu/library/fha/ and the Quaker Theological Discussion Group http://qtdg.wordpress.com/ Also, see the list of back issues of *Quaker Religious Thought* http://qtdg.wordpress.com/back-issues/
