- I'm a member of Philadelphia Yearly Meeting, mother of two young men and stepmother of two more, a mother-in-law, step-grandmother, a daughter, a sister; looking for how a mother relates to grown children, a daughter relates to a frail elderly parent. I am enjoying my siblings as well as my children, relating to the latter more as an equal but once in a while still falling into the Mommy trap. My guys are very forgiving, bless them.
I am also a hospice nurse and find it a privilege to be with people at this time of life. I often feel bathed in God's infinite Love as we journey together in this work and feel blessed to be able to do it.
On the side, I sing, struggle to care for an aging house surrounded by large, old trees, and sit on the Boards for a couple of Friends institutions, and escape to the Adirondacks when I can.
