- I have been a convinced Friend for eleven years, convinced of Christ by immediate, direct experience.My meeting was in process of being laid down when I arrived, all shiny and full of hope, thinking all Quakers knew what I was finding out. Wrong! After long, hard battles with the darkness, Light has prevailed and we are now a shiny, hopeful, Spirit-filled meeting, growing in grace and love. Conversion for me was a call to service, which I still feel. It has taken many forms, right now to gospel ministry.I spent five years in plain dress, which has been part of the bigger picture. I have been to the depths (maybe not the bottom) of pain and suffering in the past eleven years and have come through to peace, comfort and bright, shining Love. I have lots of encouragement to offer.
