- I am an "ordnary" Quaker just trying to discern and follow the leadings of God in my life. Currently God has led my husband and me to service as Resident Friends for Victoria Regional Meeting in Australia. We are the resident hosts at Friends House in Melbourne and learning about Australia, a culture similar to, yet subtly different from that in which we lived in south western Oregon and that which we experienced as Resident Friends in Auckland, Aotearoa/New Zealand last year. I am a member of South Mountain Friends Meeting (North Pacific Yearly Meting, an independent yearly meeting). My home Meeting is in Ashland, OR.
