I work 3rd day through 7th day, closing shift, but I'm a nightowl anyway. Hmm,a walk in the forest sounds nice, especially for an urbanite. The closest I get to animals is my 3 cats. I was drawn to the Friends by silence, simplicity, peace, and nonviolence. What about thee? Enjoy your chores. :-) blessings. FRIENDSAM
Friend Kristen: I work for Half Price Books in Lynnwood. I have several musical specialties: piano, guitar, vocal, and I Play a mean tamborine and kazoo! I've always loved liturgical music. I admire teachers. I don't have the patience for it except at the college level. By the way, I'm on Facebook.
Just a quick note in regarding your question about the Gathering. I posted a comment in response to Isabel's question about what the Gathering is. But I should clarify to you that I am not classic plain dressing, just "modern" plain.
I did see other modern plain dressers last year, but I don't recall any who dress with bonnets. But there were a lot of people there, so I could have missed some.
Friend Kristen: I have no children or spouse. I work in a bookstore. What do you teach? How old is your beloved son? If you travel south, give me a call: 425.876.5388. Blessings. FRIENDSAM
Thank you so much, Kristen! I am actually a chirch musician, and I attend St. Hilda & St. Patrick. I am, however, incorporating Quaker worship and priniciples into my faith journey. I like the silence and commitment to peace rhat the Friends offer. Do you go to meeting where you live? It might be fun to meet for coffee sometime. Blessings. FRIENDSAM.

Hello, Kristen,
