About Me
Regular attender of the Housatonic Monthly Meeting in New Milford Connecticut. Married to a wonderful traditional Buddhist who also attends.

I work as a software architect for NBC News, as party of the group that predicts the results of elections.

I have a keen interest in history, including Quaker history. I live just next to Pawling NY (in Poughquag) and Quaker Hill where the Oblong Quaker settlement was located in the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries. (The Oblong meeting was closely associated with the meeting we attend in New Milford.) We need to understand history in order to understand what works and build the communities we need.

I've had some past experience building (with others) online communities. Most important to me was a community in Second Life called "Cedar Island" which for four years was an association of life-long learners, and ran itself using consensus.
