About Me: is a descendant of German Lutheran, Swiss Amish & Mennonite, French Huguenot and English Quaker immigrants to the colonial provinces of Pennsylvania and Maryland. Being born near Sugarcreek, Ohio, he was later raised in Ottawa, Canada in a Fundamental Baptist preacher’s home. Joseph has served as an Assistant Pastor of a Baptist Church near Cleveland, Ohio and holds a Graduate of Theology Degree from Sturgis Bible Institute in Sturgis, Michigan. He has fathered four children, lived for seven years as a member of the Old German Baptist Brethren Church, worked in retail management, as a carpenter /chair-maker among the Amish and Mennonites near Lancaster, PA, and as a FedEx courier, contributing much to his life experience. Joey has been an active participant at Exeter Friends Meeting in Exeter, PA and a chorister at Christ Episcopal Church in Pottstown, PA and active member of Christ Church Ithan (Episcopal) in Villanova, PA. He now resides with his partner Forrest Moyer in southeastern Pennsylvania and identifies most deeply with the Religious Society of Friends (Quakers) and all those around the world who seek the truth through the language of love.
