I have several presentations under way that should be of special interest to Friends.
One is a Talking Money series that draws on discussions held among New England Friends in the early '90s, looking deeply at the emotional and spiritual dimensions of money, labor, time, possessions, and wealth. It is appearing at Chicken Farmer I Still Love You (frugaljnana.wordpress.com).
I'm also examining some of the revolutionary implications in the writings of early Quakers as they advanced their Light, Seed, and Truth metaphors. I'm especially interested in ways these leap into the frontiers of contemporary thought. For these, go to my blog, As Light Is Sown (friendjnana.wordpress.com).
The fullest biography to date of early New England Quaker minister Robert Hodgson is being presented at The Orphan George Chronicles (jmunrohodson.wordpress.com).
And my primary blog, Jnana's Red Barn, includes Quaker Practice in its monthly round of categories.
Did you know that QuakerQuaker is 100% reader supported? Our costs run to about $50/month. If you think this kind of outreach and conversation is important, please support it with a monthly subscription or one-time gift.
